Prince of Wolves by Quinn Loftis
Jacque Pierce was just an ordinary 17-year-old girl getting ready to start her senior year in high school in Coldspring, Texas. When a mysterious foreign exchange student from Romania moves in across the street, Jacque and her two best friends, Sally and Jen, don't realize the last two weeks of their summer are going to get a lot more interesting.
From the moment Jacque sets eyes on Fane she feels an instant connection, a pull like a moth to a flame. Little does she know that the flame she is drawn to is actually a Canis lupis, werewolf, and she just happens to be his mate; the other half of his soul.
The problem is Fane is not the only wolf in Coldspring, Texas.
Just as Fane and Jacque are getting to know each other, another wolf steps out to try and claim Jacque as his mate. Fane will now have to fight for the right to complete the mating bond, something that is his right by birth but is being denied him by a crazed Alpha. Will the love Fane has for Jacque be enough to give him the strength to defeat his enemy, will Jacque accept that she is Fane's mate and complete the bond between them?
My Review : OH MY WEREWOLVES 5/5 STARS.
Prince of wolves by Quinn Loftis is the first book in the grey wolves series. Let me just let you I was in love with the writing style two paragraphs in. ( that's amazing) prince of wolves starts off with a girl named Jacque Pierce staring out the window at the Henry's house because they were getting a foreign exchange student named Fane who is from Romanian. ( how awesome is that and unique ) well what changes things real fast is that fane speaks to Jacque in her throughts and says " soon". Which freaks her out so she runs to her phone and calls Jen and Sally her two best friends ( who are funny as all hell mainly Jen). After they calm her down and tells her maybe she was just tired she goes to sleep with sally and Jen. The next morning she finds out her mother is making a spread from fane abd the Henry's for lunch. The book is based in Coldspring, Texas ( I FREAKING LOVE TEXAS so about 20 pages in I already loved the book with passion). So as some people may know Texas is hot so I just throught that was so awesome I don't know it was just awesome. Anyway back to what I was saying, as jen ,sally and jacque slowly get to know fane. Jacque learns that fane is a grey wolf werewolf as know as Canis Lupus. And she is fane's true mate which I throught was super cool. As the book goes along and fane is telling Jacque and her friends more and more about the werewolf world. We learn a huge fucking mind blowing twist I've EVER.... read in a book before. That Jacque's father was a grey wolf and her mother is human. Which means she half- grey wolf you can only be mated with a grey wolf id there is grey wolf in your bloodline. So that added even more awesome factor to the story. Again as I kept reading leaning more about this totally awesome story we learn that something else in coldspring as already claimed jacque as there mate and told fane to not unpack. So I was thinking who the hell do you think you are you peice of meat dirt. So anyway what has to happen is both grey wolf werewolfs have to fight each other for rights to the mateing ceremony also known as the blood rites. So in the end of things the poor bastard dies and I laugh with glee as we dies ( yes I'm werid but you see I'm jen's future husband so I'm doing it for her). The book ends si beautiful with Fane and Jacque saying they love each other and kissing. So yeah this is my new favorite Werewolf series now. I totally can't wait to start blood rites ( which if you all are wondering is book 2) I personally can't wait to read the next 7 books yes this is a 8 book series which is so awesome and cool I know right. Thank you Quinn for writing such a beautiful story that I see myself loving for years to come...... ( you totally rock woman LOL.
